About Nature Makers®
We face two urgent challenges — a mental health crisis and an environmental emergency. At Nature Makers®, we believe the answers are rooted in creativity, community, and connection with nature.
Studies show that visits to UK woodlands save the NHS around £185 million a year in mental health support costs (Forest Research, UK Government, 2021), and that 70% of adults feel calmer and more positive when close to nature (Mental Health Foundation, 2021).
Our programmes are built on this powerful truth — that time spent creatively in nature can transform wellbeing for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
Founded by Faye Smith, an award-winning business strategist and nature-based wellbeing practitioner, Nature Makers® has grown from a single preschool class in Tamworth to a UK-wide network of over 20 franchisees delivering creative wellbeing experiences to families, schools, care homes, and workplaces.
Our sessions invite people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to reconnect with nature and themselves through mindful art, craft, and play.

What You’ll Do
As a Nature Makers® Wellbeing Practitioner, you’ll deliver mindful creative experiences across our three pathways:
Play & Create — Nature for Families & Children
Fun, hands-on nature crafts and family wellbeing sessions including holiday events, birthday parties and community festivals.
Grow & Learn — Wellbeing in Education
Workshops for schools and teachers including in school classes and After School Clubs.
Calm & Connect — Mindful Gathering & Craft (Upgrade required)
Restorative adult sessions, corporate wellness, and care home activities including Private Parties and specialist workshops such as Willow Weaving.
Your work will nurture emotional wellbeing, creativity, and community while giving you flexibility and independence to decide where and when to run your events with our guidance and support.
